A host of new kits are coming to the 41st Millennium – come check out what’s next!
Space Marines, Orks, and two-player starters, and hobby introductory sets are coming soon, as well as a full reveal of the ready-painted terrain kits that were leaked earlier this spring. Let’s dig into the preview…
Whoa, lots of new starters! Two-player, single players for Orks and Marines (with new models!), and some great terrain for Armageddon themed boards. Super cool stuff is coming soon to get new players into the game.
What if you’re looking for a quick taste of the 41st Millennium all wrapped up in a single box, with miniatures and paints enough for two friends just getting started with their hobby? The Introductory Set is designed for the very new and eminently curious, coming with 12 miniatures, six paints, an introductory book, a set of folding card terrain, a game mat, and all sorts of information to get started.
Since it’s not a new edition of Warhammer 40,000 without a new Space Marines Lieutenant, the Introductory Set includes one! In fact, all 12 of the miniatures – Space Marines Lieutenant, 5 Intercessors, Ork Nob, and 5 Boyz – are brand new and are available first in this Introductory Set.
Tons of ways to get the new terrain are also coming. The Combat Patrol set is enough for games of Combat Patrols, but combine 2 for a full table’s worth. The terrain will also be available independently along with a play mat. And even a set of the all new Ready Painted Terrain coming later in the year!
Create a full Armageddon-themed battlefield in minutes with a ready painted terrain set. Each box contains 28 pieces of terrain split between ruins, galvanic relays, capacitors, and other thematic elements, as well as a set of terrain area footprints and folding, double-sided game boards.
How about if you just want to add some power lines, ruins, or capacitors to your board? Each part of the main set will also be available separately, so you can pick and choose which bits work best for your table.
f you fancy upgrading your board with an even better surface to play on, we’ve got that sorted too – with a matching fabric Battle Mat for your Strike Force-sized games.
Codex: Orks will be the first codex of the edition and brings some wild new stuff to the format! Updates to the book are promised to be made, alongside in the app. Plus a pile of new detachments are coming with it. As well, all rules are now going to be available in all formats of play.
New Command sets are coming with Codexes this edition. Tokens, cards, and references to ease play, starting with the Orks. Naturaly, we’re also seeing some new kits for the Orks, with a few previewed today.
The classic Trukk is vehicle of choice for Boyz looking to close with the enemy at high speed, and now it returns with a brand new, highly customisable kit full of weapon and detail options. Feel like a Big Mek by kustomisin’ your ride with a grabbin’ klaw or a buzzsaw, swap its big shootas for rokkit launchas, or take your pick of a spiked ram or dozer blade, among other options.
Plus we’re getting a new mek! Super cool stuff and while the new sculpts are fantastic they’ll also look great alongside your existing ork collection. More Ork models are also soon to be revealed if they should win the battles of the Siege of Hive Deathmire.
